Adam Edwards

As an artistic kid, growing up in my father’s custom cabinetry shop gave me a medium to work with and explore. When I grew tired of making wooden swords and other weapons, I graduated to designing furniture and other fine objects. My passion for design led me into furniture design, visual display design, and interactive design in Austin, Brooklyn, and now Nashville. As a principle, I prefer my designs be subtle and sophisticated. When a California Closets project is completed, my hope is that clients respond with a deep sigh of relief, a small grin, and an awareness that the initial enjoyment of their closet is only a taste of the future freedom their new closet will provide. I am married to my wonderful wife, and we have three small children who are the masters of entropy. Ergo, I have become adept at contemplating the never-ending battle of organization.
