Design Background
I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain and Operations Management. After a year working in my field I decided I needed to follow my true passion, design. I was so excited to hear from California Closets, designing is my dream and I am excited to create new spaces for California Closet Clients.

My personal design style is rustic, with modern touches. I appreciate all styles and am able to design to whatever style the client wants. It is always refreshing to design for a client with different taste than me, I enjoy seeing the project through their eyes.

We love our new closets! Monica did a great job with helping us design a more functional and more useable space for both our master and laundry room closets. The installation crew - John and Dean did a great job on the installations and were very respectful of our home. I would definitely use them again and I will recommend California Closets to anyone in need of a closet makeover! - We worked with Monica Basconi in Cleveland to design two master walk-in closets & 1 overflow closet space. All 3 spaces presented a unique challenge & Monica was insightful, knowledgeable, & very patient with all of our questions & possible concerns for the spaces. Also she designed the closet model at the day of the appointment with all the quotes and 3D view of how the finish closets going to look like. - Excellent experience. Started with Monica B helping us fully design a luxury dream master closet for our new home. She had so many great ideas and worked with our color scheme to make the design "pop". Once completed, Monica helped on every step of the installation - from taking measurements to coordinating timing to supervising the actual install. When one drawer came in defective, she worked tirelessly to make sure that it was replaced. We now have a showcase master closet! Highly recommend.

- I can't say enough good things about our experience! Monica helped us design an amazing media wall for our home and we are over the moon with the result. She was very knowledgeable, responsive, and fun to work with. Honestly, she felt like a friend. As if that weren't enough Phil, our installer was fantastic. We found a small scratch on one of the doors and Phil immediately went back to the shop for a replacement door which he then installed within two hours. My husband and I both highly recommend California Closets.

My experience from start to finish was outstanding and easy! Quality is great! My sales rep Monica was a breath of fresh air (competent, skilled AND pleasant!).
