Terri Wipperfurth

I am inspired by connection, creativity, and continuous learning. My approach to design is rooted in curiosity and open-mindedness—recognizing that while there may be obvious choices, the real magic often lies in exploring thoughtful, alternative solutions. I embrace a wide variety of design styles, each with its own personality and perspective. Whether it’s discovering unique pieces at thrift stores and estate sales or incorporating family photos and mementos into a space, I believe design should reflect the story of the person living within it. Creating warm, welcoming environments that are both functional and deeply personal is what I love most. As a designer with California Closets, I’m a creative problem solver who listens closely to my clients’ hopes, needs, and dreams. Every project is like a puzzle, and I strive to find the best custom solution that balances aesthetics, function, and budget. I’m proud to work with a team of passionate and skilled designers, installers, and support staff, and I value the incredible tools and training we receive—including on-site CAD design capabilities—that help bring each vision to life. At my core, I am helpful, loyal, and endlessly curious. I believe that delivering on what I promise is a way to show respect for every individual I work with—and that pride in my work comes from staying true to that value. Outside of design, you’ll find me spending time at the cabin up north, traveling, enjoying music, cooking, planning trips, and building community. But above all, family is the most important part of my life. Every day is a gift, and I strive to make lasting memories with the people I love most.
