Annabel Golden

I have been in the design space for many years. When I moved to New York from London I became very intrigued by fashion as well as sales. I then moved to San Francisco and opened a jewelry store in 2010. I created custom jewelry in many different styles depending on my clients’ wishes. I loved that every day was different, that I got to meet new people all the time, and that I could make items totally based on what the customer wanted. Bringing that idea of theirs’ to life brought both my clients and myself a lot of joy. When my husband started a new job in Oakland, I decided to close my store and pursue Interior Design. It was not long after, I realized that my real passion was not freestanding furniture perse, but designing custom spaces for people to use in their homes. I worked with many closet companies during that time, and whenever a client wanted to use California Closets it was always such a wonderful experience. Their product and the innovative designs that can be created with the technology used is second to none, and so here I find myself! As my dad used to say, you don’t work a day in your life if you love what you do! I couldn’t be prouder to be a designer at California Closets.
