Erica Merryman

Raised in Cape Cod, I grew up inspired by the coastal beauty and classic architecture of New England. After years of studying design and architecture, I officially began my interior design career in 2022 — driven by a passion for both aesthetics and organization. Now, I’ve found a natural home at California Closets Richmond. In my first year with California Closets, I was honored to be named one of the Top 40 new designers internationally. My approach is rooted in listening, communicating clearly, and bringing a joyful, reflective spirit to the process. I love helping clients discover solutions that are both beautiful and pragmatic, with every element tailored to their lives. Design, to me, is never one-size-fits-all. I pay close attention to trends but filter them through a thoughtful, architectural perspective. Whether it’s a traditional aesthetic or something more eclectic, my goal is to create spaces that feel like home — rich with personality and purpose.
