Christine Walter

I attended the Columbus College of Art and Design for Interior Design courses. After school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to open a design studio in an upscale Benjamin Moore paint store. I worked with customers designing draperies, bedspreads, customized upholstery to match wallcoverings/paint. I have a good eye for color so it was an easy task. I can’t work/live without organization everywhere. Everything needs to be in its place…. organized, neat and orderly. Since it’s almost an obsession, I jumped at the opportunity to be able to help other people achieve the same order and organization in their lives. My father and grandparents are from Germany, so I have inherited a lot of family furniture heirlooms. I would say that I love traditional design, especially anything made with dark woods, such as mahogany and dark walnut. Though modern designs are appealing, I gravitate towards more “old world” designs.
